01. About me

As a data analyst at DBS under the Technology in Finance Immersion Programme (TFIP), I am constantly striving to learn and grow in my field, whilst pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Data Science & Analytics (University of Portsmouth). Over the years of learning and working, I have gained a solid understanding of statistical analysis and data visualization and have developed a keen eye for identifying patterns and trends in large datasets.

02. Interests and Hobbies

I enjoy gaming (currently obsessed with Starfield), watching explanation videos on YouTube about the unexplainable such as the universe, exercising and cooking. I am also very intrigued by new technology stacks and am constantly learning new things to keep up with the ever-changing world of technology. (Such as this website!)

03. Side Projects & Certifications

On the side, I enroll myself for courses to broaden my knowledge in the field of data science. I've recently completed courses in Azure, Discrete Mathematics and I am currently brushing up my Big Data competency (Apache Stack).

Generating business insights through big data technologies. I enhance data pipeline efficiency using Python and Spark, analyze data in Superset, and identify anomalies using SQL and Excel.

Oversee daily operations of the career center and streamlining operational processes. Effectively managed administrative tasks, ensuring prompt and competent completion. Innovated by creating tools to boost productivity, significantly reducing processing time. Also contributed by assisting another department with training new staff and analyzing workforce data.

Admin Executive

Union Members’ Data Clean Up Project, performing statistical analysis and data cleaning for a confidential dataset of 10,000+ records. Collaborated with the Union for dataset maintenance recommendations, insights and engaged the public during Recruitment Roadshows. In addition - administrative support for data visualization tasks, prepared formula-based spreadsheets and reports, and ensured accurate data entry and filing of office activities.
